Downtown Cheyenne (DDA) is hosting a free family-friendly, “old school country” event in downtown during Cheyenne Frontier Days. The event will take place on 17th Street between Carey and Capitol Avenues.
There will be live music, square dance demonstrations, kids’ activities, cowgirl and cowboy poetry & more! Food trucks & downtown dining options, carriage rides, sidewalk sales & “Made in WYO” arts/crafts!
Downtown Cheyenne also sponsored the downtown leg of the shuttle service during Frontier Days. The free shuttle will run on demand between 10:30 am – 6 pm between the Frontier Park and the east corner of Spiker Garage on Pioneer Avenue (except Sundays).
Free on street and garage parking is available for two hours before 5 pm and unlimited after 5 pm. Visitors with outside of Wyoming plates can park at the Spiker Garage for free all day on the first day. Parking permit is required for extended parking at the garage and can be purchased from the Cheyenne Safety Department at 415 W 18th Street.
