Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out audition paperwork.
Adults auditioning for the roles of:
Gunner Concannon – early 70’s aged male, a vibrant looking man. His clothing preference is the most comfortable, preferably fishing, clothes available. His thoughts are often scattered.
Peg Concannon – Gunner’s wife. A somewhat beleaguered wife of many years. She is devoted to Gunner and his wants and needs. She is seeking help and resolution.
Jack Concannon – the 49ish son of Gunner and Peg. He is pleasant looking, but resigned to whatever happens. He is polite, perfunctory often, and gives the impression he would far rather be somewhere else.
Auditioners should bring:
1) A brief monologue depicting an individual in the age bracket of the role for which you are auditioning.
2) Prepared audition excerpts (available at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse, 12-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, the week prior to auditions). Candidates will be asked to read these in groups of three.
