The Lincoln Cheyenne’s Second Annual Battle of The Bands Competition returns with 4 monthly battles of different genres with a winner chosen each night.
Saturday Feb 5 – Rap/Hip Hop night
Saturday March 5 – Singer/Songwriters
Saturday April 2 – Rock Bands
Saturday May 14 – Metal Bands
Friday June 10 – Finale showcase show featuring winners of each genre
$5 cover charge to enter with proceeds going to that night’s winner as prize money. All voting will be be in person, one vote per person each night.
This registration is for Rap/Hip Hop only. Registration for other genres will be on a separate form released at a future date. Registration for Rap/Hip Hop is open until Monday January 24 at 10:00pm. Performers must be available on Saturday Feb 5 from 3:00pm – 11:00pm for sound check, and performance. Each performer will be given a 15 minute set, with the exact time to be determined by The Lincoln staff. All material performed must be original, no covers of other artists songs.
This event is open to any musicians that are not signed to a label that live within 50 miles of Cheyenne. All ages welcome.
