The sister science of yoga, Ayurveda is the science of life. It utilizes principles of holistic wellness and health to find balance in the physical body and psychological tendencies. Ayurveda is rooted in understanding one’s own constitution and using that information to form a deep and healthy connection with mind, body and spirit.
-Basic introduction to Ayurveda, what the different energies are and explanation of the doshas.
-Introduction to the ayurvedic clock, how the energetic times apply to the days and to the year.
-Introduction to a few key Ayurvedic habits that help create wellness in the body.
– Exploration of different qualities of foods, herbs and movements.
-A private (with Shea) 20-minute body strategy session will be offered to each participant.

Shea Lehnen, RYT 200, Yoga Health Coach and Ayurveda Lover, has been studying Ayurveda for 9 years, and recently dove headfirst into training with Cate Stillman of Yogahealer. Shea has a deep passion for wellness, health, and balance!
