What could be better than a Saturday Morning session of iRest Yoga Nidra? Easy!! a 90 minute class that pairs Yin Yoga with the guided meditation of iRest. Yin is often called “Yoga for the rest of you”, meaning the connective tissues, ligament, joints and bones. It is slower paced and more meditative than most types of Yoga and exercise. Yin is made up of Yoga poses that we get into initially with less depth, but hold for longer times. We can use props to make sure our poses are the right amount of challenge for longer holds. The result is nourishing and hydrating joints, removing blockages to stuck energy, balancing emotions, and enhancing mental focus. Yin promotes circulation, flexibility and breath awareness. Yin yoga’s holds are often called “delicious” as the pauses are released.

Cost is $25 and class is limited to 8 people.
Natalie has a M.Ed. (Psychology) from Harvard University and has completed a 200-hour YA Yoga Teacher Training and an 800-hour Yoga Alliance accredited certification. She obtained additional training and certifications in Warriors at Ease, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for 12 Step Recovery, IRest Level 1, “I Am Yoga Nidra” Certified, Amrit Institute.
