Graffiti Removal Services

The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority (DDA) was created pursuant to W.S.S. § 15-9-201 with the duty to halt or prevent deterioration of property values or structures within the downtown district boundaries. To do this, the DDA has created the Downtown Property Graffiti Abatement Program. The Downtown Property Graffiti Abatement Program provides graffiti removal services at no cost to any downtown property owner located within the DDA District. Property owners interested in utilizing this Program must complete the Waiver & Indemnification Form below and submit to the DDA the completed form, along with photos of the graffiti location/graffiti tagging to be removed. In offering this program, the DDA does not waive its governmental immunity provided by any applicable law including W.S.S. §§ 1-39-101-1-39-121.

Waiver and Indemnification

I am the owner of the Property and wish to participate in the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority’s (the “DDA”) Downtown Property Graffiti Abatement Program and hereby authorize the DDA, its employees, contractors, subcontractors or agents to enter upon my property to perform graffiti removal services (hereafter referred to as “Services”) on the exterior of my building.

I acknowledge and understand the risks associated with the performance of the Services and that the process involves pressure washing that may cause damages to the surfaces of my building and understand that there is no guarantee that all graffiti will be removed from the Property, or that the DDA will have adequate funding or time to initiate the contemplated graffiti removal from my building. The DDA also reserves the right to decline to provide Services for any reason.

In consideration for the performance of the Services, I hereby waive and release the DDA, its successors and assigns from any and all actions, claims, liabilities, judgments, and damages relating to the performance of the Services.
