“Big Boots”
One of Cheyenne’s most recognizable art installations, this ever-growing project—originated by the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in 2009, in partnership with the Cheyenne Depot—includes 35+ hand-painted, 8’ tall boots around the city.
Bronze Project
Since 2021, and with assistance from the Cheyenne DDA, The Bronze Commission has installed more than 70 bronze statues throughout Downtown Cheyenne. Each statue depicts a unique element or historic figure from Wyoming’s past.
Murals
Initiated by a Main Street grant from the Cheyenne DDA, more than 50 murals now grace alley walls and sides of buildings throughout the Downtown District.
